Contract position with SMS team (Microsoft)

Performed daily BVT (Build Verification Test) on several builds of the Microsoft SMS product line. Automated and streamlined the BVT process to require much less human interaction; improved by 90%. Developed and implemented performance metrics applications written in C#.

Vendor position with ROQ (Microsoft)

Responsibilities include developing and implementing test cases for ROQ Scan, performing BVT's, writing and regressing bugs, and collecting performance data. A considerable amount of time was spent designing, developing, and testing components of our internal test tool "ROQ Stars".

Contract position with Emulex

Responsibilities include developing and implementing the test pass for fibre-channel arbitrated-loop (FCAL) switches. A good portion of my time is also spent developing tools in C# for use in testing and for utility means. Experience with several different FC-AL hardware related products.

Software Test Engineer (STE2)

Responsibilities included developing and implementing the test pass for multiplayer Grinder and downloadable content, running sanity passes on the single player campaign, and assisting with Ad Hoc testing on the MechAssault2 website. Shipped MechAssault2: Lone Wolf, Auto-update 1 & 2, and MechAssault2 Xbox Live downloadable content packages.

Contract with Bungie Studios (Microsoft)

Responsibilities included designing, developing, and implementing the test pass and test matrices for the single player (campaign) and multiplayer test team. Designed and implemented the Build Verification Test for multiplayer Alpha and all campaign builds. Performed Ad Hoc, Functionality, Boundary, Stress, and Regression testing. Assisted the Halo(PC) test team by developing and implementing all the installation functionality and configuration casing. Shipped Halo2, Halo(PC) and two patches for Halo(PC).

Contract with FASA Studios (Microsoft)

Responsibilities included developing and implementing campaign mission playthroughs, sound, object, and environment test cases for the release of MechAssault and two Xbox Live downloadable content packages. I had the highest bug count of all the staff at FASA Studios and Day 1 Studios. Shipped "Xbox Game of the Year" MechAssault and both Xbox Live downloadable content packages, featuring new multiplayer maps and new mechs.

Contract with Microsoft Passport

Responsible for building frontend and backend clusters, maintaining images, propping and performing Build Verification Tests on the new builds. When bugs were found, I worked with developers to get the problem solved in an extremely timely manner. I scripted several complicated and time-consuming procedures to speed up the propping process. Shipped Passport 2.0 and Passport 2.1.
