•  Developed a web application which served as a front end to the corporate Information Technology data warehouse (ITDW) to provide a unified view of Private Clients' server and workstation assets. (VB.Net, ADO.Net, DB2, SQL Server) The user can define ad hoc search critera on attributes such as network name or IP address or specialized attributes like operating system, manufacturer/model, processor speed and memory size, corebuild number or business unit. Successfully implemented a strategy to improve load times by keeping the most commonly searched criteria on the initial page while making the rest available through pop ups. Output is available in .html or .xls (spreadsheet) format.
•  Developed a web application to track data quality problems to the corporate Information Technology data warehouse (ITDW) (VBScript, ASP, VB.Net, SQL Server, DB2). Users record a list of valid values for important columns in ITDW's asset tables via an ASP page to a SQL Server database. A DTS package kicks off a VB.Net web service which reads the rows from the ITDW asset tables, comparing the valid values in the SQL Server database to the values it actually encounters in the DB2 database. Individual problems are recorded, along with summary rollups. A VB.Net web application provides a front end for reporting which embraces six sigma concepts. Output is available in .html or .xls (spreadsheet) format.
•  Developed a web application which enables tracking of configuration information on servers, workstations, laptops, printers and other types of network connected hardware. (VBScript, ASP, ADO, DB2). The site allowed uploads of attachments (.pdf, .xls) via the HTML file upload control.

•  Developed a web application which enables the infrastructure team to plan and track deployments of network connected devices such as standalone servers, blade server cabinets and blades. •  Utilizing the .Net HTTPWebRequest class, programatically emulated the steps a user would have to make to login to and navigate to a web page in the Business Engine Network which enables the upload of specifically formatted XML files, and subsquent import of those files to the BEN backend database. •  Modeled a queue table to hold the XML representations of Intiatives and Projects along with identifiying information.

•  Developed a web site for processor reassignment for Merrill Lynch's main workflow application. (VB.Net, SOAP/XML, VBScript, DHTML). Interface consolidated two mainframe menu selections, while adopting techniques such as VCR style navigation buttons and pop in calender controls, which significantly improved usability. Successfully implemented strategies to dynamically load dependent listboxes, and update data without refreshing the entire page, which both enhanced performance, and preserved the user's data entry effort in the event of a web server or mainframe failure.
•  Developed a multi column select control for the web. (VB.Net, VBScript, DHTML). A Developer configures the control server side by setting properties, and passing it a DataTable object. A DHTML behavior (.htc) provides selection and scrolling capabilities on the client side.

•  Developed Problem Log Tracking (PLTS2K) system for the Private Client Bookeeping Systems group. (Visual Basic 6.0, ADO, Access 97) Modeled system using ER Pro.
•  Ported PLTS2K system to DB2 back end database running on mainframe. Developed automated system upgrade procedure, which avoided multiple installations on client workstations. •  Developed the PCBS Recon Utility, a table driven, configurable tool which enables reconcilation between tables of identical structure, which reside in different DB2 regions.
