Department interacts with institutions including the FED and Depository Trust Company (DTC), serving as a clearing agent for brokers and banks that deal with bills, bonds, and notes, and government securities. 

Project Manager/Applications Developer 					1987 to 10/2007	
Researched and evaluated projects for feasibility based on business needs, documenting results and recommendations in reports for managers and users. Role expanded from Programmer Analyst to include Full Life Cycle Project Management across 4 mergers. 

▪	Partnered with manager to implement real-time interface with Depository Trust to transmit deliver/receive orders to and from DTC. Coded, converted, and tested DTC link to run on MQ Series on Alpha. Maintained and troubleshooted system, interfacing between users and systems area. 
▪	Developed and enhanced on-line and batch applications that enabled Bank data to interface with DTC in VAX environment using C, Fortran, and DCL. Supported MQ Series, DECNET, X.25, TCP/IP, SNA, LU6.2, NDM, and other communication protocols. Coded menus and common procedures in DCL.
▪	Wrote programs for daily account reconciliation by users.
▪	Collaborated with technical writers in developing user friendly documentation.
▪	Developed menu features for data center and end user manual.
