Fujifilm Corporation, Valhalla, NY August, 2007 - Present

 

Consultant: Provided senior level ABAP/4 developer expertise within a SAP ECC 5.0 Enterprise production support environment supporting SAP modules SD, MM, WM,  and FI/CO;  my assignments included developing and maintaining 16 Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) labels using a 3rd party packaged named Bar Tender by Seagull Scientific along with SAPscript Standard Text ITF and Layout Set  facilities; Created a SAP O/B extract job for Materials data elements which included a custom IDOC (ZMATMAS05) based on Message Type MATMAS and IDOC Type MATMAS05, it also required an activated SMOD - EXIT_SAPLMV01_002 which populated the 15 additional custom Materials data fields placed in a custom �Z� IDOC segment,  all associated SAP ALE configuration definitions were also built for Logical Systems, RFC R/3 Connections, RFC TCP/IP Connections, PORT FILE definitons, Partner Profile and Distribution Model definitions � in addition I incorporated the enhancement  revision into Fujifilm�s dynamic SAP user exit facility  which supports multiple company codes� business processing requirements; Designed and Developed a SAP Custom Dialog transaction used to maintain (Add, Change and Delete) rows within a new custom �Z� table using Screen Painter and Menu Painter facilities; revised an existing FI State by State Sales Tax Report (Basic List) to an ALV Grid format for enhanced reporting capabilities using the ALV Field Catalog and Container facilities along with ABAP OO Classes and Methods.

Consultant: Provided senior level ABAP Technical Team Lead expertise leading 10 Senior Level ABAP Developers in deploying a SAP ECC 5.0 Enterprise implementation for SAP modules SD, MM, WM, PP and FI/CO;  my responsibilities included: Reviewed and updated existing SAP ABAP standards. Reviewed and signed off on F.S. insuring adequate detail was included for my ABAP developers to then develop Technical Specs and Unit Testing Scripts; Conducted weekly status meetings with ABAP technical developers � adjusted workload schedules accordingly based on changing project mgt. priorities; Conducted ABAP/4 coding

walkthroughs/reviews of critical custom ABAP code, especially heavily used enhancements and interfaces insuring functionality and performance were optimal. Maintained a RICEF Development metrics process which tracked status of all ABAP development objects; Recommended the installation of  Hayes Technology Group �Gold Client� software in the Development Unit Testing Client to insure a high level of quality unit  testing master and transactional data; .Developed a crosstraining / backup process within my ABAP Development staff

for all the SAP Production/Go-Live cutover/conversion activities to insure all activities had 2 different Developers (a primary and a backup) 100% familiar with the idiosyncrasies of each conversion activity to allowed for rapid adjustment to changing work loads; Conducted presentations of BMCs MagicTSD 9 facilities

to the entire SAP Core Team members instructing them on the roles and responsibilities of the Incident  Reporters, Incident Managers and Work Order owners. Managed the FIT (Final Integration Testing) and BRT (Business Readiness Testing) error reporting and error resolution process using BMC MagicTSD version 9 � focused on resolving Business Critical and High Priority incidents reported with same day turnaround. Developed a detailed mock production cutover plan and managed execution of it in a Mock Production SAP client. Co-managed the actual SAP Production Go-Live cutover and subsequent Production stabilization period � focused on error resolution of Business Critical and High priority incidents with major emphasis on �Root Cause� determination. Managed my developers through the first 2 months of production support / sustainment focusing on expeditious problem resolution, implementing post go-live functionality and business reporting both within R/3 and via BW; Assisted in implementation of a �Dynamic User Exit� methodology, which allows multiple company codes that co-exist in the same SAP Production client, to each execute their particular version of a SAP enhancement without impacting all other company codes that also run in the same SAP production client.

Consultant: Provided senior level developer expertise in converting multiple legacy mainframe applications to SAP R/3 4.7 Enterprise (PC,MM,FI,SD); Enhanced the Purchase Requisitions Create and Change processing to include a customer data sub-screen process for associated Contract Info � utilized SMOD enhancement MEREQ001 along with BADIs ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST and ME_REQ_POSTED, I then built the associated PBO/PAI flow logic and the Screen/Menu Painter and ABAP/4 code; Developed a SAPscript Order Control Sheet form for Production Control Goods Receipt and Released Production Order print processing; developed a BADI ( MD_PLDORD_POST ) for a Planned Order assigned quantity revision related to applying an Overbuy Percentage amount followed by a Rounding Value amount and saving the new assigned quantity in SAP table PLAF via BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_CHANGE; Created a Production Control MRP Controller data load facility which loaded legacy MRP Controller data from excel file into the SAP configuration table T024D � included automated data validation functionality; Created and populated a custom Z table used by the Production Control Price Targeting subsystem along with an associated maintenance dialog transaction facility using SAP t-code SE54; developed a Production Control Price Targeting inbound interface facility which retrieves a flat file via FTP from a legacy file sever and either inserts or updates the corresponding custom Z table accordingly; created a batch outbound extract from SAP to Mainframe legacy via FTP which contained forecasted material requirements for a primary vendor using SAP tables RESB, MARC and MAKT as the data sourcing facilities; created a QM LSMW Direct IP (RMDATIND) data load facility for the Materials Age Control (Shelf Life) reqts which updated over 3000 materials; created a Production Control Release Planner Workbench reporting facility utilizing the SAP Tree View Control along with the ALV Grid Control facilities.

 

Eos Airlines, Purchase, NY - January, 2006 � April, 2006

 

Consultant: Provided senior level developer expertise in a production support role utilizing SAP R/3 ERP 2004 ECC 5.0 (FI,CO,MM,FA,HR); developed 3 ABAP/4 custom reports for the FI and CO areas; redesigned and recoded the MM � Purchasing P.O. (MEDRUCK) document using SAPscript; Authored a white paper on the SAP R/3 NetWeaver/XI Interface facilities available to automate the clients multiple external inbound and outbound interfaces to their SAP R/3 MM and HR production environment. U.S. Army, Department of Defense, Moorestown, NJ � March 2002 � December 2005

 

Consultant: Provided senior level technical lead and developer expertise in converting multiple legacy mainframe applications to SAP R/3 4.6C (HR,FI,CO,SD); participated in various roles during phase 1 & 2 of a 3 phase implementation, in some  cases functioning as a sub-team lead supervising as many as six ABAP/4 developers and in other cases I was the sole ABAP/4 developer for that particular object. Assignments during

Phase 1 included a HR PD/PA data load for 3,500 civilian employees along with a Sales Pricing Condition data load that supported over 800,000 materials at multiple plant locations. Following the Phase 1 implementation I was assigned to the Acquisitions/Purchasing Stabilization team � I functioned as a developer for seven mini-projects each of which corrected stabilization issues related to the initial posting of Open Purchase Requisitions, Open Contracts and Open Purchase Orders. During Phase 2 of this 4 year contract my assignments included managing six ABAP developers who were tasked with developing an automated data load for Profit Centers and Cost Centers along with their associated Standard Hierarchy Node entries being manually loaded; HR PD/PA automated data load for over 5,500 civilian employees; Open A/P automated data load for over 15,000 Open Commitments, Open Obligations and Open A/P Invoice Receipt postings and Open A/R automated data load for over 2,500 Open A/R items.

 

Infineum, USA, Linden, NJ � July 2001 � February 2002

 

Consultant: Provided senior level developer expertise in converting a legacy SAP R/2 along with multiple non-SAP client server systems to SAP R/3 4.6C (FI); assignments included: the Vendor Master data load based on an inherited 21 input file program design.  Beginning with an ABAP/4 file merge, I then performed a LSMW BI data load of the Vendor Master General(Client), Company Code and Purchasing Organization data.  A second LSMW data load was created to load the Vendor Master �Extended� Company Code and Purchasing Organization data.  A legacy Vendor Master to R/3 Vendor Master Translation Table was also built to facilitate/expedite other associated R/3 data loads. Designed, coded and unit tested the General Ledger Balances data load for the legacy R/2 General Ledger application data along with multiple non-SAP client server systems.  This was accomplished using the LSMW Direct Input program RFBIBL00 to post the approx. 200 General Ledger Account Balances into R/3 Designed , coded and unit tested the Accounts Payable data load for the legacy R/2 Accounts Payable application data along with multiple non-SAP client server systems.  This was accomplished using the LSMW Direct Input program RFBIBL00 to post the approx. 1,100 open Accounts Payable items into R/3. Designed , coded and unit tested the Accounts Receivable data load for the legacy R/2 Accounts Receivable application data along with multiple non-SAP client server systems.  Again, this was accomplished using the LSMW Direct Input program RFBIBL00 to post the approx. 1,400 open Accounts Receivable items into R/3.

Initially provided senior level project lead and senior level developer expertise for a number of Mainframe CICS Applications and Technical Support assignments for Major Banks, Wall Street Brokerages and IBM Professional Services. In 1995, I began my SAP technical consulting assignments utilizing ABAP/4, Menu Painter, Screen Painter and SAPscript.
