modules. This project also involved redesign of existing accounting processes
for derivatives and securities modules, fulfilling FAS 133 requirements (Mark-to-market
and hedge effectiveness), redesign of risk management processes (Value at risk,
exposure and sensitivities) in addition to configuring and implementing them.
My role also includes taking the responsibility for time lines, deliverables,
over seeing the work of other team members and managing user expectations.

positions. Salient points of this project include accommodating internal and external FX transactions,
limit management (Credit analyzer) configuring loans module to cater to various
loan structures like installment loans, annuity loans, discount based loans,
rollovers, grouping of loans, splitting of loans, implementation of netting and
payment request functionality. This phase also includes converting investment
assets from Fixed asset module to treasury module.

Lead, I was involved in managing a team of six consultants and the
configuration of Fi module including funds management. Financial Accounting
configuration included Creation of Enterprise Structure, Configuration of
global settings; G/L, A/R and A/P master data and business transactions.
Funds Management configuration included
Creation of master data like Commitment items, hierarchies, fund and funds
centers. In budgeting configuration of budget profiles, versions and number
ranges line items and CO items. In availability control definition of
tolerances and year dependent parameters for budgeting.

Martini which included, period closing for CCA, PC, GL, AP and AR and
stabilization of the system.

Configuration in Cost Center Accounting included Creation of

centers, distribution cycle set up – Planned as well as actuals,
assessment cycles – Planned as well as actuals, configuration of activity
types and planning them on different cost centers, configuration of the system
for planned and actual activity price calculations, Implementation of Internal
Orders for research and development projects.
Product Costing configuration included Configuration for
Sales Order Manufacturing with Variant Configuration, Configuration of Costing
variants, valuation variants and costing sheet for overheads, Configuration of
sales order and production order settlements and w-i-p calculation,
configuration of results analysis for final settlements, Set up of additional
costing versions to accommodate clients requirements and Configuration of product
