As Creative Director for MetLife's e-business and online branding efforts, developed a unified strategy and interface design for multiple transactional web portals. Created related integrated marketing and instructional materials designed to increase awareness, drive traffic to educational site and capture sales leads.

For the US Postal Service, created online marketing campaigns and online brand support for offline creative. Created on-line extensions of traditional advertising to build on concepts introduced in direct, print, and broadcast materials. Developed website content to support online initiatives, Minisites, CDroms and large format flash pieces.

Developed Flash interactive components, Website & CDrom design, Banners, Minisites and promotional materials as needed for various clients and creative pitches for FCB, FCBi and FCB Healthcare.

Lead teams comprised of designers, animators, programmers, and quality assurance staff. Served as the advocate for the user experience (user-centric design). Worked alongside traditional creative teams to ensure fully integrated marketing.

Own shop successfully pitched and won business from Fortune 500 clients. Developed websites and marketing campaigns to build online identities for client’s brands. Reshaped existing design strategies and created new design and branding to drive successful transition and extension to new media from traditional sources (print and television). Created multiple product websites under a single corporate brand site; banners; intranets; Internet sites as well as off-line creative. Services included strategy, design, coding, functional development, testing and staging.

Provided both direct clients and advertising agencies with virtual in-house interactive capabilities

Hearst Publishing  New York NY	1995-1998
Creative Director (1996--98) / Senior Designer (1995-96)

As Creative Director, led the complete redesign and re-branding of Hearst's flagship website. Created unique online versions of most of Hearst Publishing's magazines: Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Country Living, House Beautiful, Victoria, Town and Country Marie Claire, etc. Also managed design and development of original content for online e-magazines Eats, Shelter, Bloom, and others. Significantly increased audience loyalty and pageviews, while creating pioneering strategies within web development. Directed projects for advertisers new to the web that were seeking strategic guidance from the Homearts Website such as Bertolli, Kraft Foods, Ford and Glade, among others. Developed designs and design guidelines, as well as graphic production and workflow standards for entire website.

Established digital illustration techniques for promotional campaigns, product rendering, 3-D modeling, and photomanipulation in support of many major agency creative pitches.

Clients included: Elizabeth Arden; AT&T; Bell Atlantic, Nynex, Citibank, Chase, Chrysler, J Walter Thompson, Mezina Brown, Y&R, Nickelodeon.
