GEAC (HR/PR) Software Environment with extensively modified code; PL1 oriented.

Spearheaded integration of newly acquired plants into existing database system, and installing GEAC “Field Expansion” release (BU0115). Support corporate infrastructure for database containing over 4,000,000 employee records. Train staff in the use of COBOL LE370.

Ø       Successful integration of COBOL LE370 with PL1, being the most diverse, unique and challenging client assignment to date.

Ø       Ability to achieve last minute deadlines, requiring extensive tele-computing expertise.

Integrated acquisition of KC Aviation by Gulfstream Aerospace business plans to include complex year-end processing of newly merged corporation. Developed and implemented new combined pension plan for all six locations, new benefits system, and new 401K system. Assisted staff with daily system support and collaboratively sustained requests from user areas.

Ø       Further contracted as team member for the Y2K conversion of MSA (GEAC), and implementation of all system tasks.

Ø       Instrumental in creating and instituting new investment plan for all facilities, including off-site teleprocessing reporting directly to the Financial IS Director.

Coordinated Governmental/Federal compliance reporting requirements.  Developed and supported HR/PR peripheral modules; converted HR/PR system to new User Defined Accounting Key (UDAK) for financial system. Modified HR/Payroll Systems flow (using GEAC “E” Series (D&B) demonstrating high degree of D&B software expertise and internal operations knowledge. Provided 24 hour on call/system remote support. Implemented International (immigration) visa tracing for international students.

Ø       Developed multiple governmental/financial interfaces from and to “E” Series HR/PR systems, W2 generation and year-end processing.

Ø       Generated and modified COBOL programming to “E” Series HR/PR system, involving 500+ COBOL programs.

Ø       Wrote conversion programs from “E” Series HR/PR system to GEAC’s SmartStream Client/Server HR/PR system.

Ø       Streamlined offline processing operations by increasing processing efficiency 60%.
