Employment history
1999-2003 Combra Industriteknik AB
1997-1999 Ericsson Radio Systems AB
1996-1997 Department of Applied Electronics, LTH
Projects
Jan. 03 - Feb. 03
Software modification and implementation of new functionality for a number
of LonWorks nodes. The work involved rewriting parts of the software to improve
serial communication performance.
Development environment: Windows NT, LonBuilder, C.
October 02 - Dec. 02
Development of software for the Sony Ericsson P800 smart phone.
The software is used for controlling MS PowerPoint presentations on a PC
using the P800. The PC and the P800 communicate via Bluetooth.
Development environment: Symbian OS v.7.0 SDK, Metrowerks CodeWarrior,
C++.
June 02 - July 02
Svenska Volkswagen AB
Development of software for a Windows CE based handheld equipped with a barcode
reader. The software is used for collecting inventory information from Volkswagen's
car lots.
Development environment: Windows CE SDK, MS Visual C++, MFC.
April 02 - May 02
SAAB Avionics
Development of Win32 software for controlling the RS-232 port on a PC which
is connected to an RS-485 converter hardware.
The software uses multithreading and thread priority manipulation to fulfill
the timing requirements demanded by the system.
Development environment: Windows 2000, MS Visual C++.
March 02 - April 02
Svenska Volkswagen AB
Development of software for a Windows CE based handheld equipped with a barcode
reader. The software is used for registering newly imported cars and recording
any physical damages that they might have.
Development environment: Windows CE SDK, MS Visual C++, MFC.
May 01 - January 02
Blue2Space AB
Development of software for a number of Bluetooth products based on NetARM
40, CSR BC01 Bluetooth radio module, Ericsson Bluetooth host stack, OSE Delta
RTOS. Implementation of Bluetooth profiles GAP (Generic Access Profile),
SPP (Serial Port Profile) and LAP (LAN Access Profile).
Performed profile tests and documented the results with the help of Telelogic
PreQual, Tektronix BPA100 and Arca Wavecatcher.
Development environment: Windows 2000, MS Visual Source Safe, C.
March 00 - April 01
Atlas Copco Tools AB
Development of software for a car assembly control system.
I was responsible for a number of function blocks including functions for
controlling and guiding the order of nut tightenings and functions for
communication and coordination of different control units in the assembly
line via Ethernet. The system was based on a PowerPC processor and OSE RTOS.
Development environment: Unix, SCCS, SDL/SDT, C.
Sept. 99 - Feb. 00
Megacon AB
Software development for an energy meter monitoring device which automatically
reads and logs energy meter data. The device then can be contacted via RS-232
from a PC or a connected modem through the telephone line. The device is
based on a 3150 Neuron chip and implements the LonMark profile "Utility data
logger register".
Development environment: Windows NT, NodeBuilder, LonBuilder, MS Visual
Source Safe, C.
June 99 - Sept. 99
Sensel
Software development for a number of LonWorks nodes used for home automation.
The nodes were based on 3150 and 3120 neuron chips and provide functions
such as temperature and electrical usage measurements, controlling of relays
and monitoring fuses and circuit breakers. These functions can be accessed
remotely via a modem.
Development environment: Windows NT, NodeBuilder, LonBuilder, MS Visual
Source Safe, C.
Feb. 99 - May 99
Performed a technical investigation and was responsible for a number of technical
reports which were the basis of an implementation sketch for the implementation
of ETSI V5.2 standard protocol in a telecommunication system.
July 97 - Jan. 99
Specification, design and implementation of a subsystem in a Wireless Local
Loop (WLL) product.
The goal of the project was to introduce a new hardware platform and new
functionality in the system (ETSI V5.1 standard protocol). My work consisted
of development of software for monitoring and communication via PCM links
connecting the subsystem to the next subsystem and also to add new functionality
to the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) system.
Development environment: Unix, ClearCase, SDL/SDT, Modula-2.
Dec. 96 - June 97
Investigation, evaluation and analysis of digital signal processing algorithms
for detection of decay in living trees.
My work consisted of measurements, data collection, analysis and simulation
with Matlab.
Sept. 96 - Nov. 96
Development of hardware and software for a microprocessor based timer with
LCD display and keypad.
The hardware was based on an M68000 processor. The software was written in
assembler and C.
Development Environments
Microsoft Windows NT/2000, Microsoft Visual Source Safe, Unix, Linux, Clear
Case, SCCS, LonBuilder, NodeBuilder, CodeWright, Telelogic Tau SDL suite,
Matlab, Matrixx, ARM dev. Env. (SDT), Bluetooth protocol analyzers, Microsoft
Visual Studio, Metrowerks CodeWarrior, MS Windows CE, OSE, Symbian.
Hardware
Motorola 68000.
Digital components (LCD, UART, RTC, Keyboard etc.).
Instruments for hardware analysis (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), I2C bus,
SPI, M-Bus.
Programming languages
C, Neuron C, C++, Pascal, Modula-2, SDL, UML, Basic, Assembly(M68000)
