As an
enterprise or as an individual, one needs to become better at sensing change,
analysing opportunities and threats, working collaboratively, making decisions
and implementing change.
Putting the
best practices to use was once the most challenging task for change drivers in
Organizations. Subsequently, getting a proper mapping done from business
processes to an ERP package was a challenge. But now with the advent of
business XML and various collaborative ways to do business, have given rise to
multi dimensional array of changes possible and a need for specialists in
Business process, those capable of mapping to pre-established scenarios and
those able to bring about quick customizations across system boundaries and
ability to work under abstract situations have become increasingly important.
Many turn to
Interim Management when they are planning a merger/acquisition, an MBO or are
selling an operation. Some need additional business support as they are
planning a new launch or targeting an unfamiliar market. Interim managers are
often called in to manage specific business critical projects, or to drive
through a major change. My experience correlates to such occurrences. Army
Logistics Base shifting(SAP WM), BPR Post-mortem in Glass industry(MM & WM)
are some examples to be cited.
As an
experienced Management Consultant, I possess considerable communication and
diplomacy skills, advanced implementation/delivery traits and be willing to put
myself in the firing line in any consultative capacity.
Thorough
understanding of Customs/Excise procedures(including Bill of Entry and material
movement within customs) in India makes me competent to easily understand any
custom regulations worldwide.
In this
context, I would like to bring it to your notice my achievements as a Supply
Chain Manager, Business Analyst , a Senior Consultant and as a Project Manager.
Possess thorough understanding of ASAP methodology. APO - Supply Chain planning
training (SCM200 module) by SAP Singapore.
Good
understanding of HP supply Chain models, financial flow and IT systems is my
strength.Worked on Supply chain cost analysis in APO in SNP.
Objective
To be an applauded person in XRP space while adding value
to the Value chains of the Enterprises by enabling Supply Chain Integration
with their ERP back-ends.

A
mechanical Engineer by background, got trained in BOSCH , India on a rotational
placement in QC, Purchasing, Marketing, Methods improvement and R&D departments
.
Subsequently started working for logistics for Test
marketing new products, in a new division which grew to be a full fledged
operation at 17 sales offices in India. Looked after Sales co-ordination,
inventory planning, procurement, customs clearance, warehouse set up and
distribution logistics for the six year tenure there. As we had a different set
of operational model, we had to segregate the divisions operations from the
main stream activities and I had coordinated for the conceptual design and
implementation of the logistics scenarios using a ERP package called PRMS. I
was also responsible for maintaining the regional sales plans in the VIPS
planning ( sales and information system) needed for production planning at the
plants in Germany and Switzerland.( similar to Planning Books in SAP – APO). (
There were Macros like in Planning books to compute the ratios needed for
better planning). Had to look after the BOM and Engineering change management
of the 4 Products that were indigenously manufactured.
