Major Accomplishments:  Stood up the Tivoli Framework, TEC and ITM in the lab environment.  Developed the deployment guide to be used by un-trained Tivoli Administrators to perform these actions in the lock down area. Pitney Bowes 05/01 – 09/05 Team Lead - Systems Management Developed and executed a multi-vendor Request for Proposal (RFP) for the implementation of an end to end monitoring and dashboard system. Major Accomplishments: Led a cross functional team of business owners and technical personnel to develop requirements and perform vendor submission reviews. Participated in the procurement cycle and the development of the final statement of work. Leading the creation of the software implementation and support teams. Led a team of systems management administrators in the maintenance and upgrade of the Pitney Bowes Tivoli deployment. Redesigned and led the implementation of a new Tivoli architecture to position Pitney Bowes for the latest Tivoli product releases. Development and enhancement of the distributed systems system management processes to be ITIL compliant. Major Accomplishments: Upgraded / Implemented ITM5.1.1, Inventory 4.0, Remote Control 3.8, Framework 3.7.1, and TEC 3.8. Developed custom monitors and application TEC Adapters with automatic restarts of customer critical Pitney Bowes web pages. Automated Inventory scans for both servers and clients. Implemented Tivoli alert forwarding to the Remedy Help Desk system. Implemented Smartset processing in Netview for SNMP event forwarding to the Tivoli TEC. Migrated the Tivoli infrastructure from AIX to HPUX IBM Corporation 10/00 – 05/01 - Internal Revenue Service Modernization Enterprise Systems Management consultant, assisted in the design phase for the integrated enterprise systems management solution at the IRS. The solution called for a design that contained: 1. Extended Help Desk (EHD) that resulted in the consolidation of the IRS help desks into one logical help desk with consolidated policy and procedures. 2. An integrated systems and network management design (IESM), using Tivoli Distributed Monitor and TEC and the Peregrine ServiceCenter software, that fully automated the capture and use of management and event data. 3. An integrated asset management system, using Tivoli Inventory and Peregrine AssetCenter, for the IRS. Major Accomplishments: • Developed an application management framework using Tivoli Application Performance Monitor application monitoring techniques. • Provided ESM architecture communication with other IRS prime projects. • Technical representation of ESM in Prime workshops. IBM Corporation 9/99 – 10/00 - Tivoli Architect Lead Tivoli Architect for the Tivoli roll out with in the IBM Service Delivery Center North. Major Accomplishments The architecture covered the deployment of: Ÿ Tivoli Distributed Monitor across 2000+ AIX and 300+ NT servers. Ÿ Tivoli Event Console (T/EC) to support this environment. Ÿ Tivoli Manager for MQSeries Ÿ Tivoli Manager for SAP/R3 Ÿ Tivoli Inventory for 2000+ Servers and 50000+ clients Ÿ Tivoli Software Distribution for 2000+ Servers Ÿ Tivoli Remote Control for 2500 clients and 2000+ servers 9/97 - 9/99 Distributed Systems Server Management Team member of the UNIX based Tivoli implementation core team. Performed implementation of the Tivoli Framework, Distributed Monitor, TEC (with Sybase), and various Tivoli AMS modules. Major Accomplishments Installed and supported a Tivoli implementations in both IBM commercial and internal accounts. Provided Tivoli technical consultation to other members of the Tivoli team and management. Created and deployed Tivoli Distributed Monitor custom monitors using both Perl and Korn Shell Scripting. Participated in the development of the Tivoli architecture, leading the logical design portion of the effort. Developed the various Framework policies for our TMA roll out. 4/97 - 9/97 Distributed Systems - Systems Management Team Leader Led the effort to convert existing Large System Systems Management business processes over to a large Distributed Systems environment. Developed and built the Distributed Systems Availability Management structure and team. Major Accomplishments Converted the existing Problem and Change Management business processes to reflect the Distributed Systems needs and obtained buy in by the support personnel. Over saw the implementation of a unified Information Management system for problem and change management. Built the Availability Management team from processes and procedure development to the interviewing and staffing of the team.
