wEBNS – Emergency notification product for campus environment using instant messaging protocols (XMPP) currently under development. Designing Java-based plugins for Wildfire-server and Java-based clients for end-users.


HANDS - Windows-based telephone emergency notification system for airports and power plants using integrated telephone switching, multi-processor, fault tolerant design. Responsible for system top-level design, interprocess communications protocols, core state machine software, and end-user touchscreen workstation. VB.Net implementation.


EARS-Net - Voice recording archive system for proprietary EARS recorder. Implemented as a Visual Basic Windows service with integrated FTP server.


SIMON - A specialized PBX call accounting system used by the U.S. State Department in foreign embassies. MS-Jet (MS Access) multi-table database design.

Supervised a group of contract engineers to design and develop a DSP-based telephone network trunk simulation tool used to troubleshoot trunk problems when installing digital telephone switches in emerging-nation telephone systems. Supported client on extended field-tests in Germany and the Ukraine. Responsible for instrument user interfaces using Visual Basic.

Managed a team of engineers to develop DECvoice, a PDP-11-based telephone network voice recording platform using digital T1 interfaces. DECvoice was used by a number of call centers and a voice-mail manufacturer.


Managed development of VAX VMS software to allow AT&T Datakit users to have terminal access to VMS systems via associated Ethernet Datakit server (also a DEC designed product) and for VMS systems to use the Datakit network to establish DECnet circuits. The success of the project resulted in my selection as a Circle of Excellence winner in Hawaii.
