Recent Engagements include:

 

MGM-Mirage, Las Vegas, NV – (08-2005 - Current) – HR/PY consultant/system analyst for newly created Quality Assurance division of MGM-Mirage IT services.  Responsible for analyzing SSA Infinium HR/PY release documentation and determining the program changes that will affect MGM-Mirage properties, responsible for determining the extent and risk of the changes and for developing documentation to be provided to business owners for recommendation of what processes will be tested for QA, responsible for preliminary testing of changed processes and for development of testing scripts for QA testing.

 

Ameristar Casinos, Inc., St. Charles, MO, Kansas City, MO and Las Vegas, NV (2004 – 2006)   (Worked on several projects for this client over the span of the last five years) Major casino company with corporate offices in Las Vegas, NV – Involved in several data conversion projects and system implementation of InfiniumÔ Payroll, Human Resources, Payables Ledger, Income Reporting and General Ledger systems. 

 

Created and implemented various interfaces from the InfiniumÔ system to third party entities such as: Interface from Timberline software to Infinium Payables Ledger, 401K Extract, Positive Pay, Check Reconciliation, Paid Time Off Accruals, Custom Medical Account Database Check Reconciliation, and Minority Vendor Reporting.  In addition created query reports for end users.

 

In 2004-2005 involved in a slot revenue data conversion, data conversion and implementation of Infinium GL, PY, HR and PL systems for a new casino acquisition. 

 

In 2006 I was involved in creating an extract of employee medical coverage and dependent coverage data to a third party administrator.   .

 

Polo Ralph Lauren Europe SARL, Watford, UK – (2004) - Created a custom general ledger reporting system (Libro Giornale) that interfaced with the Infinium Financials (GL, PL, AR, GT).  Custom system extracted primary account data from the General Ledger historical files and then extracted secondary vendor/customer/invoice detail account data from the AR, PL and GT systems.   System then presented the data to the users in the report format required by the governmental agencies for the respective country (Spain and Italy).  Custom system provided users with data inquiry and reporting functions.   As the sole analyst on this project I was responsible for system design, system program specifications, testing of programs, data mapping, and validation of data, documentation of the custom systems and data flow and training of end users.

 

Also, involved in a GL, PL and AR conversion project wherein the Infinium financials were implemented for the Spain division of Polo.   After implementation of the Infinium Financial systems for the Spain division, I was the sole analyst responsible for implementing the custom general ledger reporting system for the Spain division.  

 

 

Wackenhut Corrections Corporation, 621 NW 53rd Street, Suite 700, Boca Raton, FL 33487 – Created and implemented an automated COBRA Billing System.  System collected and transmitted financial data from Infinium PY/HR to a third party entity for COBRA billing.  Met with end users to ascertain the needs, created programming specifications, performed preliminary and final system testing, documentation and training of end users.

 

Wackenhut, Inc., West Palm Beach, FLMajor nationwide Securities Company – primary job dealt with the design and implementation of a custom module: Client Contract Management [CCM Project] that interfaced to InfiniumÔ Human Resources/Payroll software.  The CCM project allowed entry of worked hours (billable and non-billable) for security personnel, tracked billable hours and created invoices, interfaced worked hours data to client’s payroll system, tracked client contracts and provided comprehensive reporting to general management and end users of all contracts.  Custom module interfaced with HR/PY, JP, OP, AR, GL, and Vertex. 

 

In addition to the CCM Project, was responsible for mapping, conversion and verification of converted data from their old mainframe to their new InfiniumÔ financial software system, implementing of the new software system, training of end users in new system, creating and implementing custom interfaces and modifications to enhance their payroll, Human Resources and payables systems.

 

 

APMHA Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (health Care)

Created and implemented the listed custom modules that interfaced to the InfiniumÔ      

Payroll system: ‘Paid Time Off Module”, Payroll  Job Authorization Module, Step In            Grade Mid Cycle Pay Override, Custom Multiple Distribution Module, Allocation of Shift Differential Pay and Allocation of Overtime Premium.

 

 

MGM Grand Casino, Inc., Las Vegas, NV)major hotel & casino company – primary job dealt with writing a new employee benefits system that interfaced to the InfiniumÔ Human Resources/Payroll system.  This included all new screen displays, listings, and update programs, documentation and training of benefit personnel.

 

 

Viking Freight, Inc., San Jose, CA) Major trucking company – primary job dealt with conversion and implementation of InfiniumÔ Payroll/Human Resources system.  In addition acted as liaison between payroll personnel and IT personnel, helped end users with training in new system, implemented software releases, installed and implemented program management software, Silvon Implementer and assisted payroll users with year end tax reporting.
