Marginal improvements just wouldn't be enough. We knew we had to start with a clean sheet of paper. We asked ourselves, If you were going to respond to this industry from scratch, how would you do it? And we asked our customers too. Here's what we heard: Our customers want and need the highest quality talent available - people do make a difference. Customers need their talent just in time and structured to match their needs. In some cases that means permanent additions to their work force. In other cases they need temporary or project-based labor and still other times they want to outsource the work to a third party who provides the entire labor solution. They need flexibility in their labor force. To compete on a global scale, their labor costs have to be efficient on a global basis.
