How to Sign up as a Company.

Qualifications:

You have more than one employee performing software development, OR
You hire or place contractors, OR
You offer a business service to our members.

Requirements: You will need a forms-capable web browser and an email address. Please update your data at least once every six months. We will send a reminder by email after six months of in-activity. If you have not updated your entry for 12 months, we will assume you have abandoned it and we will delete it.

What do we do with the information? All of the information provided to us on the form (except the password and the billing data) is posted on our site. We do not distribute the information but other parties on the internet that might extract and use it for other purposes outside our control.

AGENTS/BROKERS - Please READ the following points:

"No Agents Please" flags - There are many members that choose NOT to use agents. Those that do not use agents are clearly marked on their information page. Please check the information page before contacting a member to make sure that they will work with you. Otherwise its a waste of your time and theirs.
Availability Dates and Regions - The information page also contains the availability date and the regions in which a contractor will accept work. If they are not available or the job you are trying to fill is not in their area please do not bother them.

Signup Procedures:

STEP 1: Fill in the data in the Information Entry Form. Enter any data you want displayed. Fill in as much information as you can. If the information is incomplete, you can edit or update it any time you want.
Submit the form to initiate the service. When the submission process is complete, you will have been assigned a company number. A Company Profile Web page will be created from the information you entered in the sign-up form.
STEP 2: Go to your Company Profile page. Review all of your entries to make sure that they look the way you want them to. To make a change, click the "Update this page" button and enter your password. You will then be able to modify your information form.
If you modify your entries, be sure to use the RELOAD button on your browser so your browser will see the change. Otherwise, you will be seeing only the old version of a page in your browser's cache. If your entries did not change, you probably forgot to use the RELOAD button.

What you get

Your Company Profile is displayed where it can be viewed by prospective contractors, clients, and agents alike indexed and sorted by type of company, specialty, and location. There are also links from your Company Profile page to your own company web page. You also qualify to post jobs at our special rates.

Later obligations

Every six months, please update the data on your form, in particular the email address. If you do not update after six months, you will be sent a reminder by email and the data is marked as out-of-date. After 12 months the data will be removed unless it is updated.
