Software Engineer
Location: Fort Collins, CO
Contract: 6 months with the possibility of extension

Become part of the fast moving, next generation network product development team. This team is designing, building, and deploying monitoring and trouble shooting applications for VOIP networks and their associated services. Your role will be in designing and developing installation tools and processes for a new product and then using these tools to deploy the product at lead customer sites. Additionally, you will be providing mentoring to our customer’s services organization that will then use these tools and processes to deploy this product world-wide.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree plus eight years experience or MS in computer Science or equivalent plus 6 years experience.
* Strong Linux user and admin experience.
* Experience with Java.
* Shell scripting and/or Perl experience.
* Networking, internet protocol, and telecommunications experience.
* Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Demonstrated strong problems solving skills.

Desired:
* Technical consulting experience including direct customer contact.
* Administration and operations experience with Telecom oriented services and applications such as VOIP, etc.
* Administration and operations experience with IP-based networking protocols, applications, and services.
* Demonstrated project management skills.
* Software product development experience using formal product development life cycle.
