The project is focused on providing Business Intelligence, real-time data processing and Service Oriented Architecture design using Agile/Scrum methodologies. The Scrum teams are building a sophisticated business intelligence system that is Microsoft based .NET, SQL Server 2005.

Responsibilities

* Producing test scripts
* Test Execution & Defect tracking and troubleshooting
* Running defect meetings
* Assisting with deployments, managing release notes and smoke-testing post deployment.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills required to manage and run defect meetings and communicate issues raised for investigation
* Ability to meet with the client when required as well as work well with developers and Business Analysts.

Technical Skills

Excellent SQL querying

Knowledge of SSIS package creation

Knowledge and understanding of Business Intelligence testing

Knowledge and understanding of Web Testing

Agile testing (Continuous integration testing)

Knowledge of test automation would be a bonus

Knowledge of TFS preferable

Knowledge of ETL tools and process, and the ability to write SSIS packages a big advantage

Experience

3 years testing experience

Experience of working in an agile environment preferred

Oil and Gas, and/or BI project experience a bonus

SQL Server 2005 and Oracle experience
