The EDI Lead is responsible for the maintenance and mapping of the trading partners’ transaction mapping within the GIS(Gentran Integration Suite) software. The responsibilities include application stability and building/maintaining transaction process flow.

Thorough understanding of the manufacturing EDI transactions set including but not limited to 850, 810, 820, 856, 855, 870, 824

Communication with trading partners on transaction specifications and network communication.

Maintain the stability and functions of the GIS (MySQL) environment for current production transactions with ERP system

Build new or incorporate into existing, new transactions for current or new customers. Update existing transaction processing as requested from customers. Build vendor transactions to and from ERP system.

Ability to manage multiple projects and keep to defined timelines for projects. Adhere to defined SDLC policy and practices.

As lead of the EDI team, manage the projects and maintenance of the team. Report on metrics of the transactions and project deliverables.

Communicates effectively and professionally with reporting managers, users, customers and other IT personnel.

Minimum of 5-6 years’ work experience with Sterling’s GIS (Gentran Integrated Suite) software using MySQL. Including database and environment maintenance, transaction process flow and mapping

Strong knowledge, use and maintenance of GIS
Strong knowledge and use of X12 industry transactions
