BPM will also inform business users whether or not the reporting documents from FDS, generated by regularly scheduled processes have been produced

 

As a project lead and an architect involved in architecting, designing and building the BPM components using HSBC's home-grown R2DA methodologies with J2EE technologies.             Genesis project is a large-scale project redesigning and converting a number of legacy banking applications to the cutting edge technology to give the customers an added competitive edge in succeeding their businesses by 1999. The team comprised of 300 plus consultants working towards the goal to architect, design, develop, migration of data, test and implement the systems by the end of 1999.  Primary responsibilities included to architect, design and develop functional specifications and also to develop a number of external and internal interfaces.  The system integration architecture team acted as the COM layer for all inbound and outbound interfaces. Responsibilities also included to integrate the external interfaces with SAPPHIRE, the business layer front end developed in Visual Basic with other M3 (CORBA complaint tuxedo) acting as the middleware and the framework for the project. COM interfaces were developed using M3, C++, TCP/IP, multithreading and socket handlers.

            SCOPUS is a customer service application, which provides a wide variety of customer service for a manufacturing company. The product supported order entry, data import, error tracking, serial number generation, inventory and customer support. Responsibilities included applications architecture, analysis, design and development, data architecture; database cleanup, corrective fixes and production support. Also was responsible to migrate data, data warehousing, and integrity cleanup for 6 databases. Designed and developed a number of ORACLE PL/SQL programs, UNIX shell scripts to run batch jobs nightly, weekly and monthly to synchronize the databases.  Assisted in designing screens for the front end of the application using SCOPUS. Provided maintenance and support.

Primary responsibilities included to lead the project with a team of 6 people, provide product maintenance and support, corrective bug fixes and design and develop enhancements using C, UNIX shell scripts and Ingres.
