I'm an independent contsultant currently looking for an assignment, preferably Android or embedded development. I have an unusually broad skill set which has served me well both as an architect and development engineer. I am not interested in an exclusively architectural role. I would be happy with a combination of the two, but component-level design and development is a requirement for me.
I'm open for both contract or permanent work. At this point in my career, I would prefer a permanent position but will happily take on new contracts. I live in Hopkinton, MA, 27 miles west of Boston and am willng to commute for up to 40 miles.
My usual contract rates are $65/hour for onsite work and $60/hour for offsite. I would accept a salary of $110,000/year. For the right company, culture, projects, and commute I may be willing to negotiate.
