  • Installation, configuration and administration experience in Big Data platforms Cloudera CDH, Hortonworks Ambari, Apache Hadoop on Ubuntu, Redhat, and Centos as a data storage, retrieval, and processing systems.
  • Good Understanding of the Hadoop Distributed File System and Ecosystem (MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Sqoop and HBase).
  • Experienced in handling Hadoop Ecosystem Projects such as Hive, Pig and Sqoop.
  • Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH).
  • Experienced in configuring Pig, Hive, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie shared metastore, and Impala.
  • Exposure in setting up data importing and exporting tools such as Sqoop from RDBMS to HDFS and FLUME for real time Twitter streaming.
  • Advanced knowledge in Fair and Capacity schedulers and configuring schedulers in cluster.
  • Storage capacity management, performance tuning and benchmarking.
  • Well-versed knowledge in setting up high availability Hadoop clusters along with the YARN.
