Project:The objective of this project was to implement the Payroll function.

Role: SAP HR Consultant

Location: Somerset, PA

The main objective of this project was to migrate the payroll function from ADP to allow for defined structures across the organizations to seamlessly integrate the functional areas with financial reporting capabilities.  

PAYROLLResponsibilities:

·         Gathered requirements from business, and assisted in the preparation of the blueprint         document.

·   Created payroll Areas and defaulted them using ABKRS

·         Created control record and setup retroactive period.

·         Created periods parameters assigned to payroll Area and defined date modifiers

·         Created various wage types for IT0008, IT0014, IT0015, by copying standard wage types

My role was to configure and modify the pay scale structure - pay scale type and area, employee sub-group groupings. Maintained multiple Info types required to effectively run payroll for the employees such as basic pay (IT0008), bank details (IT0009) and recurring payments/deductions (IT0014).

Responsibilities:Personnel Administration:

·         Configured enterprise structure to fit company requirements including personnel area, personnel sub-area, employee group and employee sub-group.

·         Configured and maintained the master data using the transactions PA30 & PA40. Maintained and configured Info types 0000, 0001, 0002, 0005, 0006, 0007, 0008, 0009,0014,0015, 0021 etc.

·         Defined and generated features such as ABKRS for default payroll area, maintaining feature NUMKR, PINCH and VDSK1.
