Application Developer

§  Worked to upgrade ATG E-Commerce platform to Oracle v11.2 E-Commerce platform utilizing Java backend and real-time integration with multiple back end ERPs.

§  Wrote utilities (mostly in C#) to monitor and maintain entire E-Commerce environment stack (Dev, Test and Prod).  Utilities notified development team when services went down, builds were executed, and logs contained errors.

§  Wrote custom build and deployment process for E-Commerce application.  Build automatically pulled source, stopped jboss servers, compiled and deployed code to development environment on a schedule.  Another tool deployed binaries to Test and Prod on demand as necessary.

§  Managed all manual code merges from outside contractor Github source control environment to our in house TFS environment.

§  Maintained a tool (written in .Net) which analyzed appropriate sales margins for company salesmen based upon client frequency of order and order volume.

Software Engineer

§  Designed, developed and maintained numerous forms applications, console applications and some web applications written largely in C# and VB.net that used an internal API that gave internal users information about and functionality with a large source control system.

§  Maintained and wrote numerous .Net applications in C# and VB.net to facilitate building, packaging, and distributing to end-clients.

§  Wrote small ASP.Net MVC applications that interfaced with information out of SQL server using N-Hibernate and Entity Framework that were part of a larger environment which facilitated overall deployment and packaging of our company binaries.

§  Developed numerous WCF services in both C# and VB.net that interfaced directly with source control and other enterprise services, such as distribution of install packages to our company’s download center web site.

§  Designed and developed the first version of our Download Center, which allowed clients and QA to log into a web site to download our software.  MVC utilizing the NHibernate ORM was the architecture used.

§  Wrote many batch scripts to facilitate packaging up files for distribution.

Team Foundation Server Admin.

§  Created an in-house API in C# that interacts directly against the Microsoft TFS API to decouple our in-house applications from Team Foundation Server.

§  Designed and developed a service bus environment that provided crosstalk between TFS work items and HP PPM client requests.

§  Migrated our physical TFS app tier into a virtual server farm, using Hyper-V, and scaling out the app tier over a F5 load balancer.

§  Handled distributing user, project, and folder specific permissions.

§  Performed work item, workflow, and build process customization.

Install Work

§  Updated and created installs, utilizing InstallShield via UI and command line, for distribution of our software to our clients.

§ Advanced knowledge of the inner workings of Team Foundation Server.  This includes knowledge of the API, application servers, jobs, work item customization, workflow customization, plug-in development, custom code policy development, scaling out application-tiers, and upgrading and installing new versions.
