Design and develop a provisioning module in Access/VBA for customer service staff.  Design and develop a mail merge process for collections, which is driven by aging data. Design and develop company website (Outsourced graphics) using FrontPage 2000 and ASP for Access database connectivity. The database portion of the website is restricted access to sales agents of the company only. Migrate customer base from Sprint to Qwest Communications. Migrate customers to new billing platform. Designed and developed a billing application in Access 2003 that allows this client to bill the VOIP international traffic to their customers.

Designed and developed Access database objects (Forms, Queries, Reports, and VBA code) in Access 97 as a client application. Create server portion of the application in SQL Server 2000, building tables, views, stored procedures, DTS�s and views. This database is currently housing 70 million sales records. On a daily basis the application supports 20 users. On a quarterly basis the application generates manufacturer rebate calculations based upon sales data from restaurants. Integrate ComTech accounting software into the system mentioned above to process payment checks to customers. Migrate Access 97 client to Access 2000. Built an interface from SQL Server 2000 to QuickBooks via stored procedure using QODBC driver to add checks.

Design and develop all applications needed to support the business. Applications consist of: Sales order entry application in Access 97/2000 for contracted sales offices to enter orders. Design and develop order processing systems. The order processing systems were built with Access 2000 and SQL Server with stored procedures. The order processing applications will import orders sent from the sales offices. Once the orders have been verified by data coming in from 3rd party verification, an export would be run out to ASCII files and sent to the carrier.

Make enhancements to an existing Access 97 billing application with data stored in SQL Server 6.5.

Design and develop collections application in Access 97 to interface to SQL Server 7.0 tables from Cost Guard billing system. Based upon aged billings, the application would generate 30, 60, and 90 day late letters to be mailed to customers. Built a commissions payment system for the finance department written in Access 97. All tables are in SQL Server 7.0. In order to speed the application a host of stored procedures were written to first summarize the data. This system would be run on a monthly basis and would process through over 20 million records. Both of these applications required extensive use of VBA and Embedded SQL.

Developed an adjudication system for a major insurance company, using PowerBuilder 6.0 and 5.0.03 with Sybase XI as the backend database. Developed stored procedures in SQLAnywhere and Sybase for selects, inserts and updates. Implemented and integrated HOW and PFC business objects into the application and developed overloaded functions within NVOâ�™s.  Provided guidance to junior PowerBuilder programmers.

Enhanced and maintained PowerBuilder portion of a SmartStream application written by Dunn & Bradstreet. Developed a PowerBuilder prototype to demonstrate the feasibility of replacing the SmartStream application with PowerBuilder.

Designed, developed and tested a Client/Server magazine viewer application, using PowerBuilder V4.0. Worked in a lead role to develop, maintain and support Datapro's telemarketing system on an IBM RS/6000, using a 4GL language and C routines. Developed a large suite of Kshell and Cshell programs for user access and administration of the RS/6000. Integrated WordPerfect into Datapro's telemarketing system with custom routines to automatically generate custom price quotes, letters and invoices for customers. Developed an Xwindows application using C and Xlib routines. Analyzed, designed and developed a financial, earned revenue forecasting model, using FoxPro 2.5.

Maintained, enhanced and supported DEC�s BX.25 layered communications package. Developed BX.25 application software, written in C language, to allow communication through a packet switched network at the session and packet levels. Provided technical support to customers of this software. Modified and adapted BX.25 user interface software, written in C and VMS DCL code, to operate in a Unix System V environment. Also modified BX.25 kernel software. Provided technical sales support to sales team and customers for networking and systems solutions involving Ultrix RISC workstations. Organized computer lab for the Advanced Decision Support System group with two FX/8 parallel processing Unix systems. Developed hardware specifications and made evaluations, proposals and contracts for services and support. Created an Ethernet network between the two systems for ease of data transfer and system administration. Developed software to automate administration functions.
