Management

Served as consulting project lead on projects up to about fifty participants.  Worked with client project managers    to plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, monitor and validate these application data conversion plus software implementation projects of 3 to 21 months duration. Significant responsibilities in negotiating  major financial arrangements, including purchase and sale  of lines of business and companies.


Technology

Over 30 years software development experience in numerous programming languages, both mainframe and desktop.  Substantial experience with numerous programming languages, including Pascal, C++, COBOL, etc. Eight years OO analysis-design-implementation experience. Planning and execution of major system implementation and data conversion projects.  Experience with both custom programming projects and development of off-the-shelf systems.


Insurance Systems

Experience with most major life insurance enterprise-wide systems, including policy, agent, accounting, reporting,  and product subsystems.


Other System

Developed a desktop fixed assets system used by several public-sector organizations.  Performed data conversion system set-up for several government customers.

Miscellaneous

Represented Trillium Resources Corporation as a finalist in the 1993 Computerworld Object Application Awards.  Has served as primary consultant on several of the largest mainframe to LAN policy master file conversion projects completed in the life  insurance business.
