Developed T-SQL stored procedures for migrating from RDB to SQL Server 2000; batch procedures and BCP for ACH bank transaction processing. Developed custom ASP.NET report pages. Developed OO class libraries that modeled an industrial controller�s virtual devices. Developed data services utilizing ADO.NET for providing enterprise and administration. Developed healthcare modules for new reimbursement (Cigna iSave) web in ASP.NET and C#, ADO.NET to DB2 database. Developed Payments module based on business specifications. Developed ASP.NET user and server controls and class library helpers in C#. Worked with Business Analysts to write and test SQL queries against DB2 database. Built test harnesses to test various queries and optimized queries based on performance needs.

Hartford Steam Boiler, Hartford, CT 07/02 � 12/02

Designed and developed (lead a two-developer team) extensions to the HSB Client Connect web application. Added "Renewals" subsystem/web application which allows clients to manage policies up for expiration (search, review, renew, etc.). Security components were implemented to help roll out the web site to HSBs clients in a controlled deployment. ASP/IIS, SQL Server 2000, VB, VBScript, JavaScript and ASPQMail was used. Work consisted of additional database design including tables and stored procedures, VB COM development using VB 6 and traditional ASP.

Lead Developer for mission-critical client/server database applications designed for the Healthcare industry. Responsible for full life-cycle design and implementation of SmartMerge, SmartReport and SmartManager designed to help customers "clean-up" their MPI (master-person-index) database.

Developed a MFC client application using ODBC and Transact-SQL to MS-SQL Server database; w/ reporting via Crystal Reports .OCX; owner-draw grid controls based on DUNDAS Grid (MFC) which allows customized views of medical records. Developed a Win32 server application for transaction processing and auditing, including interfacing to legacy 3270/5250 host systems via HLLAPI; TCP/IP messaging for sending HL7 ADT messages to server process (MPI Spy). Responsibilities also included functional specifications, project schedules (MS Project), and peer code reviews, presentations, sales and technical support training, consulting, on-site support. Evaluated and recommended third party development tools. Researched thin-client architecture using ASP/IIS.

SSO/DACS Runtime (client software) consists of an application monitor and interpreter for performing Single Sign-On to target systems that require end-user identification and authentication. The SSO/DACS Interpreter consists of framework of specialized .DLLs. Designed and implemented proprietary text-trapping .DLL for Windows 3.x and 95. Experience with Windows system hooks, porting Win16 applications to Win32 API, multithreading under Win32, Win95 shell extensions, debugging with MS-Visual C++, Turbo Debugger, Soft-Ice for Windows 3.x, 95.
