We run a Software Development center in Kolkata (Calcutta), India and have been doing Offshore Software Outsourcing for the last 7 years. In these 7 years we have been able to forge long standing relationships with a number of companies in the USA and Europe. We are often retained by these companies on a IT Partner role and we provide them almost end-to-end software programming support and mentoring consultancy. Working closely with these companies over the long period of over 5 years in most cases, we have learned many lessons about the Offshore Outsourcing model and we have always strived to tweak our development processes so as to alleviate the pitfalls and accentuate the advantages of the model.
On the capabilities side, we are immensely experienced in working on both UNIX and Windows platforms, integrating successfully both Open Source and Proprietary solutions. We have knowledgeable resources and experience in the following application areas:
-- Mathematical and Engineering applications involving deep theoretical principles.
-- Image Processing
-- Financial Processes
-- Statistical Analysis and Data Mining applications
-- E-commerce based websites and their back-offices.
Our development center in Kolkata employs a team of 37, including Project Managers, Analyst Programmers and Consultant Programmers. Additionally we run a On The Job Training program for programmers, which provides us with an immense potential to recruit large and capable teams within a very short notice. If necessary, we even engage Client Facing Program Managers in the USA so as to make the Project Management a breeze for the client organization.
