Osgoode Professional Development is a revenue-generating professional executive education enterprise designed to provide both degree and non-degree continuing legal professional education programs to students in the GTA, nationally and internationally. OPD serves the diverse needs of international graduate students; it also serves post-graduate domestic students seeking to specialize by completing a professional Master of Laws.
We are currently recruiting for a Web Developer to work with Osgood Professional Development for this exciting opportunity.
Are you a Technical professional with experience in website development? Do you possess 1-2 years' of experience employed in the field of Information Technology? Do you possess experience with Linux Operating system? Do you possess knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Systems with experience in developing similar solutions and E-commerce components? Do you have experience creating web based applications and systems from the conceptual stages to production level? If so, keep reading!
In this role, you will coordinate, design and implement all web application and related activities within Osgoode Professional Development (OPD). This includes designing, building, implementing and administering Web sites and web applications; integrating sites with Back End applications; coordinating special web-based projects, including creation and maintenance of databases; web server configuration and maintenance.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
A University degree in Computer Science or any related field in Information Technology. The successful incumbent will possess 1-2 years of related work experience as well as knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with experience in developing similar solutions and E-commerce components. Work experience should include administrative experience of the Linux operating system, Apache web server, PHP Scripting language and MySQL database server. Additionally, experience creating web based applications and systems from the conceptual stages to production level are required in order to be successful in this role.
