How to Sign up as a Company (An employer or recruiter)
If you are a Software Contractor, Go here to register for a Resume listing.
But if you are a company that hires software contractors please read on.
The Software Contractors' Guild is dedicated to offering services to software contractors.
This is a community of talented software developers and this Web site is a place for software contractors to post a resume and get exposure to hiring managers and recruiters.
Qualifications:
- You have employees performing software development, OR
- You hire or place contractors, OR
- You offer a business service to our members.
Requirements: You will need a web browser and
an email address. Please update your data
at least once a year. We do not send out reminders by email.
If you have not updated your entry for
24 months, we will assume you have abandoned it and we will delete it.
Fees: NONE

What do we do with the information? All of the information provided to
us on the form (except the password) is posted
on our site for all to see. We do not distribute the information but
other parties on the Internet might extract and use it
for other purposes outside our control.
RECRUITERS/BROKERS - Please READ the following points:
- "NO RECRUITERS PLEASE" Flags on Contractor Profile - Many members choose
NOT to use third party contract recruiters. Those that do not use recruiters are clearly marked
on their profile page. Please check the profile page before
contacting a member to make sure that they will work with you.
Otherwise its a waste of your time and theirs.
- Availability Dates on Contractor Profile -
The information page also contains the availability date. If they are not
available please do not contact them. If the date is in the past, the Contractor has
not updated their profile. It is ok to contact them.
- When Contacting a Contractor - Please mention that you found their resume
on the Software Contractors' Guild. This lets them know our site is working for them. Thank You.
Signup Procedures:
- STEP 1: Fill in the data in the
Information Entry Form.
Enter any data you want displayed. If the information is incomplete or changes, you can
edit or update it any time.
Submit the form to initiate the service. When the submission
process is complete, you will have been assigned a company number and
a Company Profile page will have been created from the information
you entered in the sign-up form.
- STEP 2: Go to your Company Profile page.
Review all of your entries to make sure that they look the way you want
them to. To make a change, click the "Edit Profile" button at the
top of the page. You will then be able to modify your information form.
If you don't see the "Edit Profile" button, click the login button and enter your password.
If you modify your entries and click the Submit button but do not see your changes, try clicking the RELOAD button on your browser.
What you get
Your Company Profile is displayed where it can be viewed by prospective
contractors, clients, and recrutiers alike indexed and sorted by
type of company, specialty, and location. There are also links from
your Company Profile page to your own company web page. You also
qualify to post jobs.
Later obligations
Every year or so, please update the data on your form, in particular
the contact email address. If you have not logged in for over 24 months
we assume your account has been abandoned and we will delete it.
Special Services
On special request, we can provide a service where we will automatically
extract and post all contract job postings for jobs on your website. Please contact
